Vicki Strobel
President and CEO
Vicki Strobel has over thirty years experience in the airline services business, having started at the age of 16 delivering lost luggage. Vicki worked her way through almost every position in the company to her current role as President and CEO, which she assumed in 1991. Vicki is very active in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the company from headquarters in Chicago overseeing operations all across the United States. She holds a degree in education from the University of Illinois and is proud to showcase Prospect as a Certified Woman’s Business Enterprise.
Michael Strobel
Senior Vice President
Mike Strobel joined the Family owned company full time after graduating from Southern Illinois University, with a degree in Communications and Fine Arts in 1979. Prior to this he worked part time for Prospect in a wide variety of positions beginning in 1970. A Chicago native, Mike is currently based in Orlando, Florida with direct responsibility for all Prospect operations in the Southeast and the Mid Atlantic states. Mike has extensive corporate experience having been directly involved in Prospect start up operations and ongoing successful businesses in 13 cities.
Philip J. Lee
Senior Vice President, Employee Relations and Human Resources
Philip J. Lee joined Prospect following twenty years of leadership in the airline industry in both Europe and the United States. Phillip led the execution and planning of ground handling for both the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games. He has coordinated international events including the Bilderberg Conference. Philip holds a degree in Business-Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Limerick, Ireland and is a graduate member of the Institute of Personnel Management (U.K.).
Michael J. Plichta
Senior Vice President
Michael J. Plichta has been with Prospect Airport Services for over thirty-five years having grown through the ranks working in virtually every capacity. As an operationally centered company leader, Michael is based in Chicago with oversight of a number of cities. Michael is well known and respected within the airline industry and has served as Vice President, Sales since 1989. Michael attended the following universities: Southern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University, DePaul University and Loyola University.
Michael Durocher
Senior Vice President
Mike Durocher joined Prospect in 1984 and has developed his career from Skycap through all functional disciplines in Florida, Utah and most recently to his current position in our Dallas hub. In addition to his operational oversight of Dallas, Mike has responsibility for Logistics and Supply Chain Management and is the interface between Prospect and the external bidding processes. Mike has been instrumental in the development of the PDSExpress™ hub management system and its successful operations throughout the company.
Jo Ann Storie
Senior Vice President of Risk Management
Jo Ann Storie has served Prospect Airport Services since 2002, most recently in her current role, Senior Vice President of Risk Management. Jo Ann has decades of experience in Aviation Risk Management, including nearly 30 years at Great American Insurance-Aviation Division. As Senior Claims Representative, Jo Ann handled coverage Issues, liability claims for airport risk as well as aircraft owner liability and physical damage to aircraft while supervising adjusters and office staff. Jo Ann has oversight on Prospect employee safety training, minimizing risks and leading Prospect to a stellar safety ranking. JoAnn is privileged to work with various Disability Groups and was appointed by the DOT to work on a Committee of 19 to review the ACAA Law and make recommendations to Congress for changes in that Law. She is also working with the “Teague” project to assess the design of future aircraft interiors for ease of moving aisle chairs within the aircraft. Jo Ann is a graduate of Abilene Christian University and is based in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
